Heidi Kujat’s passion
lies within her ability to transform emotion into symbolic
creations that inspire and uplift all those who choose to engage in some
kind of
journey with her sculptures and paintings. She has been dedicated to a
lifetime
of personal exploration, growth and healing. She believes that artwork
inspired
from a place of love and positive intention can bring dramatic shifts to
one’s
environment. She personally wishes to bring qualities of joy, hope, compassion,
and many other aspects of love to all those who connect with her work.
She
spends a great deal of time in nature and draws off a vast reservoir of
universal
knowledge and personal experiences to apply to her creations. She finds
great
pleasure delving into different myths and archetypes and resurrecting aspects
of them in her work. A large part of Heidi’s time has been spent
exploring the
unseen world and traveling to remote areas seeking a variety of perspectives
and belief systems to find a common thread to then weave into her work
and
to illustrate her interpretations of the essence of being. Her focus is
to bring
the viewer to engage with her pieces on an emotional level. Her wish to
amplify the positive aspects of being human through her earthly and ethereal
sculptures reminding us that by cooperating and unifying within the love
principles there is light in all situations. Most of her work is very spontaneous
and is birthed from intense experiences that in turn guide her to seek solace
in the energy of her pieces. In a way they are her salvation and give her a
sense of comfort and peace which she in turn hopes to touch others with in
the same way. Each creation holds a unique story which allowed it to manifest
into being. She embraces the mediums with which she works, using beeswax
and fire as it allows her to capture movement and co-create in a magical way.
She personally works in a meditative state on each wax in every edition and
retextures each piece with sacred symbols as well as redoing each hairstyle
with its own individual complexities so that each creation carries a uniqueness
of it’s own and holds a stronger imprint of the artist. Heidi is extremely
grateful to all those who she is able to share her gifts with may it be from
an appreciative eye to a serious collector. |
